Lakbay Sining is an art camp that popularizes People's Art as a tool to express and mainstream social issues. It is annually organized by SINAGBAYAN and is now on its third year of conception. It consists of Specialized Artistic Workshops to hone participants' artistic skills, Basic Masses Integration to deepen young people's understanding of the community's and the country's context, Cultural Nights to showcase participating groups and individuals' talents and skills in performative and non-performative arts, and Educational Discussions to equip young people with tools for analysis. It consolidates almost a hundred young people every year, from urban poor, rural poor and universities. Its mission is to bring young people in a venue where they can have sound and creative exchanges, emphasizing the role of the arts in advancing national sovereignty and democracy through cultural development.
